Extreme close-ups of familiar everyday objects revealing normally unseen minute details and transformed into otherworldly flavors and moods. I wanted to disclose intricacies that usually escape notice - microscopic ridges, subtle gradients, unexpected structures, turning each surface into a landscape. In the altered scale and colors, the commonplace is transformed into something almost extraterrestrial. The result is a metamorphosis in which the ordinary becomes the unfamiliar.
The series won an award at PX3 2024-Prix de la Photographie Paris.
