"Water's Edge"

A fine art photography series that I created at the edge of water, rocks and other elements effected by water and nature. My goal was to show water as both calm and violent, rocks shaped by water and air, and a minimal presence of humans.
"Idefix" - I put myself in a tough spot among razor sharp rocks but the resulting image is extremely satisfying.

"Rock 'n Waves" - "Rock 'n Waves" shows the force of water and nature in action on hard volcanic rocks.

"Force of Nature" - This image is the result of exploring a very virgin area in the Bozburun vicinity for a conceptual photograph depicting the force of nature.

"Golden Rock" - Many different elements make up this image. The large rock is at the golden section. The curved line in the middle divide the two plateaus which have contrasting textures. The curve of the gray rock in the foreground create enclosure. The Mediterranean Sea and the yacht complete the background.

"Gates of Knidos" - I went to the ancient Carian city of Knidos situated on the Datça peninsula. The only other time I was there was in 1983, and it was just to its port by boat. I took my time during this visit and made this image.

"Ciao Bella" - The lively Mediterranean sea and boat life contrast with the dead plants and ancient ruins in this time exposure image.

"Final Wave" - The rock with the hole is a sponge rock, a telltale sign that the rocks were once underwater and later hardened when the sea retreated.

"Balancing Act" - The camera location had to be precise so that all the rocks and the island as well as the sailboat had to be placed accurately within the composition for a balanced image."
